Good News....
Yesterday I had a bone marrow biopsy done. Today Dr. Goldman called with the results. He told me my bone marrow was normal (plasma cell 1.3%) and that I am in remission. Thank you all for your many prayers and Thank you Jesus for answering them. I have an appointment with next week and I will find out what my future plans are.

- I am 63 years old and was diagnosed with multiple myeloma on Feb 15,2005 at age 57. I was undergoing an autologous stem cell transplant.(SCT) I had my stem cells harvested in May 06 but due to complications I did not, nor do I plan to have the transplant. Added note: NEVER say NEVER; I am going to complete my sct starting Feb 15th 2011. I worked as a RN until going on disability in Dec. 04. I am the one with black top on. Evelyn, I am so happy that you are in remission.It has been a long long haul to this point,right?I think all of our prayers have helped you to get to this point. Will keep you in my prayers Evelyn.Has your Mom gone back to florida yet? best of everything!
