I received my stem cells back on friday Thay was day 0 wbc was 1.2
Yesterday was day 1 and my wbc was 0.6 HBG was 7.6 and I got 2 units of blood transfused. Still having some nausea. Will write more later.

- I am 63 years old and was diagnosed with multiple myeloma on Feb 15,2005 at age 57. I was undergoing an autologous stem cell transplant.(SCT) I had my stem cells harvested in May 06 but due to complications I did not, nor do I plan to have the transplant. Added note: NEVER say NEVER; I am going to complete my sct starting Feb 15th 2011. I worked as a RN until going on disability in Dec. 04. I am the one with black top on. From what I've learned about the STC's you have a week to 10 days of feeling rather poorly and then the turn-around begins in earnest. Perhaps you can have a family member do the postings for you until you are rounding that turn... meanwhile, intending and praying for an easy time of it for you.
