Baby Steps...
in the right direction. My cr is 4.3 today. Will continue with the fluids and I will have my labs redrawn on Wednesday. Steve, Jen and the boys came over with pizza yesterday for dinner. After they left here they went to a bonfire at Sylvia's but I was too pooped to participate. Hopefully everyone had a good time.

- I am 63 years old and was diagnosed with multiple myeloma on Feb 15,2005 at age 57. I was undergoing an autologous stem cell transplant.(SCT) I had my stem cells harvested in May 06 but due to complications I did not, nor do I plan to have the transplant. Added note: NEVER say NEVER; I am going to complete my sct starting Feb 15th 2011. I worked as a RN until going on disability in Dec. 04. I am the one with black top on. I am with my sisters Sylvia & MaryLou

I am inspired by the strength you have shown throughout this time of testing. I know your sibs and Bob know what you are made of, but now the world can find out as well. I have come to see you in a different light also. Not merely a sister-in law, but a warrior in the battle of life.
I am trying hard not to be trite, and offer you what I think you need to hear, but you cannot know how many lives this blog will help, and how many lives your fight will touch. My respect for you has grown, or should I say mushroomed.
Through this fight, you are living and fleshing out the first Two Commandments in a way that most of us would not choose. Press on!
